New Dopod C500 Smartphone
Dopod has unveiled it s new C500 smartphone, which comes with the latest Windows Mobile 6 operating system. The C500 is a unique design and it’s pack with features like 12-numeric keypad on the front and a semi-auto sliding Qwerty keyboard under its 65k color 2.4inch (320 x 240pixels) LCD screen. Qwerty keyboard mobile devices are a misunderstood lot. When people think Qwerty, they associate it with big, bulky and ugly-looking devices. However, the Dopod C500 full keyboards look gorgeous and slim.
With Windows Mobile 6 as platform, the C500 supports sending and receiving of emails anytime and anywhere as long as you are connected to the internet. Apart from this, users will be able to synchronise their Outlook mail, calendar and tasks on the C500.
The C500 can also view and edit Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Adobe PDF documents. The C500 offer connection options including Bluetooth 2.0 and WLAN 802.11 b/g for web browsing and instant messaging like MSN/Live Messenger while on the move. The C500 is said to allow the usual sending and receiving of photos, icons and voice recordings just like the desktop.
Dopod C500 is a quadband phone comes with EDGE support and has a suggested retail price of Rm1,688.00 for Malaysia market and the good thing is since it comes with Windows Mobile 6, there is no need to worry about upgrading from Windows Mobile 5.
